Nut brittles or chocolate barks. What’s better than a snack that’s already supposed to be in pieces? Any extra cracks or anything that happen during shipping won’t even be noticed.
Marshmallows. Inexpensive to ship.
Brownies. Make sure to let your brownies cool before slicing and packing. If you pack in a layer higher than one brownie tall, make sure to put parchment or wax paper between the layers.
Gingersnaps. In terms of cookies, you can’t go wrong with the gingersnap. Not only do they get better with time (to a point), they don’t break easily. For added moisture, feel free to throw in a slice of fresh bread with your cookies.
Biscotti. You’ll want to be careful packing these if you want them to arrive in their whole long, oval forms, but when properly wrapped in plastic they’ll last the trip without going stale.
