Decorating Cookies with Fondant

Fondant Covered Cookies

  1. Use your favorite sugar cookie recipe (Or follow our favorite). 
  2. Roll and cut out shapes. Bake according to recipe. Allow to cool completely.
  3. Dust your work area with powdered sugar. Roll out your favorite color fondant to about 1/8" thick. Use the cookie cutter that you used to cut out your cookies and cut fondant shapes.
  4. Brush a light coating of water on the back of each piece of fondant and apply to the top of a cookie.
    Add frosting embellishments. Be simple or fancy, it's up to you.
