Torte a Cake in 3 Steps

Some bakers have no problem torting a cake with a knife. I'm not one of them. I've tried, believe me, I've tried.  But my layers always tend to be thick on one side and really thin on the other side. (I hang the pictures on the wall crooked, too!). If you are anything like me, there is a tool that can help! Spare your guests from eating a glob of filling on your uneven layer.
Torte A Cake In 3 Steps
Tools Needed
Fat Daddio's Cake Leveler (CL-DLX)
Flat surface
  1. Place cake on flat surface
  2. Adjust the Fat Daddio's Cake Leveler to the the height needed
  3. Drag Cake Leveler across the cake surface.
